- Technical Characteristics: Cabin Ropeway is constructed by the French company "POMA"
(Web-site) and it was opened on December 19, 1980. The lower lift station is
located
on 1315 m. altitude in
Borovets Resort, opposite Samokov Hotel, the medial station is on 1830 m. altitude and the upper one is on 2369 m. on Yastrebets Summit. The rope line is served
by 170 cabins with streamlined form, each of which empty weighs 320 kg. In the medial lift station the cabins are taken by second rope, so the passengers do not
descend to take the other lift. Here the doors open automatically and those who like may go up or down. The total length of cabin ropeway is 4827 meters, as
the first part is 2590 meters long and the second one - 2237 m. During its movement lift overcomes the difference in height 1054 meters, and its capacity is
1200 people per hour. The trip lasts about 23 min. at a design speed of 4 m/s.

- Starting Point from the upper lift station:
- Musala Chalet – 1,00 h. along the cart road, built for the construction of
the new chalet. During the winter this variant is dangerous because of
avalanches, so one has to descend in the valley of the Musalenska Bistritsa
River. The path is marked with rods

(through Musala Chalet) – 2,15 h.
- Musala Summit (through Musala Chalet and Everest
Shelter) – 2,45 h.

Surface Lift (Platter Lift). The ropeway is constructed by the French company "POMA" (Web-site). The lower
lift station is

on 2144 m. altitude in valley of Musalenska Bistritsa River and the upper one is on 2486 m. on Markudzhik
Ridge (Suhar Ski run). Its length is
950 meters and overcomes the difference in height 342 meters for 6 minutes. Its capacity is 2400 persons per hour.

- Technical Characteristics: The chair ropeway Rilski ezera is constructed by the Austrian Company "Doppelmayr",
which in 2002 became part
of the Austrian-Swiss group "Doppelmayr-Garaventa" (Web-site).
Officially is inaugurated on April 4, 2009.
The length of the lift is 2163 meters and along
the route were placed 23 pillars and is tightrope for transportation with thickness of 36 mm. Overcomes altitude 515 m. and its capacity is 700 people per hour,
provided by 193 number external seats. The lower lift station is
located
on 1585 m. altitude not far from Pionerska Chalet and the upper one is on 2100 m. near
Rilski Ezera Chalet. The trip lasts about 16 min. at a design speed of 2,25 m/s

Italy (1982). The lower lift station is

on 1440 m. altitude in Kartala Area
(Kartalska Polyana Meadow) and the upper one is on 2240 m. in Ravnets Area.
