Chairlift with fixed-grip seats (2-CLF)
- Technical Characteristics: This is the longest
passenger chair ropeway in Bulgaria - 3990 m. It was built by Vazovskite Mashinostritelni
Zavodi (VMZ) - town of Sopot, with primary purpose easy access of workers to the departmental holiday house "Nezabravka" and other tourist sites in the Central
Balkan. It consists of two parts, the first of which was constructed in 1980 and the second - after 1989:
- The first part begins from the outskirts of town of Sopot, near Sopotski Monastery "Vaznesenie Gospodne" (557 m., First station) and ends in
Pochivaloto Area (1389 m., Second station), overcoming displacement 832 meters. Its length is 2630 m., the trip lasts 22 min, at 2 m / s. The capacity of this
line is 300 persons per hour and the number of seats - 101. Next to the lower station has outdoor swimming pool and a restaurant (cafe). In early 2014 of
a second station was installed a new generator for backup power
"PRAMAC" (Web-site) that ensures power is
restored within seconds
- The second part starts from Pochivaloto Area (Third station) to the region of Nezabravka Chalet (Fourth station). Its length is 1360 m., the capacity
is 254 persons per hour and the trip lasts 15 min., at 2 m / s. The capacity of this line is 250 persons per hour and the number of seats - 55.
